I am proud to have been appointed to serve Shakopee’s citizens as a commissioner on the Shakopee Public Utilities Commission. This award-winning organization is respected throughout the state and the industry as a leader among public power utilities. Provided litigation and appellate support for general practice law firm, including preparing cases involving personal injury, medical malpractice, and Indian Law claims. Specifically, provided primary legal research and drafting in the white-collar criminal defense appeal in United States v. Jorgensen, 144 F.3d 550 (8th Cir. 1998), and the Indian Law, federal tort claims case for the successful appeal in Loudner v. United States, 108 F.3d 896 (8th Cir. 1997).

Provided litigation and pretrial discovery support for commercial and personal injury litigation, including “exploding gas tank” product liability litigation against General Motors (described in the related case General Motors Corp. v. McGee, 837 So.2d 1010 (Fla. Ct. App. 2002)).
